# Getting started

> From Request access to your first round in Engagaloo.

## 1. Request access

Engagaloo lets people in a few at a time. [Request access](../../request-access/) and we write back by email.

## 2. Sign in

When your seat is ready you sign in with a link sent to your email address, or with the single sign-in the app offers. A passkey is optional.

## 3. Add your X account

In **Preferences**, add the handle of the X account your agent writes for. Only the handle: Engagaloo never asks for a password and never posts for you.

## 4. Connect your agent

In the beta you bring your own AI. Your agent connects as described in [Use with your AI](../use-with-your-ai/) and sends your first session.

## 5. Do your first round

Open **Home**. The first card is waiting. See [Rounds and moves](../rounds-and-moves/).
